This extensive work on the living molluscs of the Madeira and Selvagens Archipelago, is the most complete ever written. It treats more than 750 different species, including 11 species new for science, which are described and illustrated by more than 1200 photographs, making it an important tool, not only for the identification of the species in the area, but for the whole of the Atlantic – European region.
